I always loved hair. At age five, my mom got me a saucy walker doll that didn’t walk (she was in the bargain basement at Bloomingdale’s). Mom told me she had polio, which wasn’t eradicated in those days. Naturally I asked where her wheelchair was and when my mom couldn’t find a wheelchair she came home with a doll-sized beauty shop chair, hairdryer and all! With some curlers and bobby pins my love for hairstyling began. I became the first person to be licensed in the state of New York at age 16. At age 21 I opened my first salon in 1976.
Along the way I enjoyed working on television, runway shows, movie sets and photo shoots for magazines. I won awards as best television host and co-producer of a local cable show called Feeling Good with Marlene Weber in the early 90’s. While working in NYC at the Bloomingdale’s salon and Yves Claude Hair on Madison Avenue I worked with some of the best mentors in the business whose influence in proper haircutting and salon etiquette has shaped the way I do business.
I continually strive to grow my business through sound business systems, tools and goals while maintaining education for myself and my team are paramount to exceeding guests’ expectations. I continue that tradition by sharing my knowledge and expertise as a salon and spa coach and consultant helping other owners achieve success through the same systems I have implemented in my own business.

Welcome to our beautiful 150 year-old-barn nestled amongst pine trees tucked away just beyond Adam’s west side entrance. We are home to a talented team of 40 passionate beauty and spa providers, shampoo assistants, guest service coordinators and management.

Our award-winning skin care team offers serious skin care utilizing Aveda’s TulasaraTM for those wanting a botanical skin experience and Skinceuticals for a more clinical skin care treatment. A deep cleansing facial will leave your skin refreshed and glowing while our peels, microdermabrasion and dermaplaning will uncover your youthful glow, minimizing fine lines and wrinkles. We offer Botox, Juvéderm, Kybella and Volbella treatments administered by our medical director Dr. Brad Cash. The key to maintaining good skin is at-home care and regular in-spa treatments to keep your skin looking its best.
Our masterful massage team have a unique sensibility to tuning into your body’s needs. They are well trained in pain management, sports injury, stress reduction, pre natal and medical massage. We offer signature treatments such as Chakra™ balancing massage, beautifying body wrap, hot stone massage, parafango body wrap and aromatherapy massage to name a few. When combined with our unique consultation and our massage therapist’s experience, you will be floating out of our spa!
Our stylists are top of their field in all levels of service and communication from listening to their clients’ challenges, to creating the perfect haircut and complementing color to scalp and hair treatments to impart life, luster and shine. Aveda, Bumble and bumble, and Goldwell products cater to all hair types and tastes. All services are complemented by a personal recommendation of products to support your new do and hair color!
Our nail department boasts superior hygiene and experienced nail technicians who love what they do and perform their services well with a creative flair to suit your occasion and personality. Services range from manicures, pedicures, gel lacquer, aromatherapy treatments to paraffin and anti-aging hand treatments.
We regularly contribute to our community through complimentary services and fundraise for events that help women and children’s health. We offer our clients an opportunity to enjoy another service or department at a discount through our client loyalty program and hold beauty night-out events with complimentary services, discounts on products and gifts and enjoy yummy bites and cocktails with our guests at these events throughout the year. In addition we sponsor a family every year through Angels of Light, a Hudson Valley foundation which provides holiday gift giving for children and their families with life threatening illness.
